The one thing that is controlling your life, and how to change it

Today I want to talk about a subject that is not a secret, but that most people forget about because they don’t realize how crucial it is in their lives and how much all results they are experiencing depend on it.

I am talking about your paradigm. This inner program you have that gives you some beliefs that define you, your thoughts, your feelings and emotions, your actions….. Yes. It defines your whole life.

When we were born, our subconscious mind was open to receive whatever was there at that moment: the energy from the parents, their words, feelings, emotions, their environment. All the ideas, opinions we have deep within ourselves have been programmed by our entourage as we were babies. Those were all the things we were seeing, hearing, feeling on a daily basis. Today, they define our subconscious mind. Why are we so sure of some things, without having any logical reason for it? Because it is in there, in us. Why do some people stay stuck in their lives, as if they were not able to move or change things, even if they know what they should do in order to become better or just move forward? Because they are blocked in the inside. They are blocked by some beliefs they have. They may or may not even realize it.

Let me give you an example. How many of you know someone who wants to improve his life by changing his job for example? Let’s say this person has a tiring 50-hour week job, he is depressed because he hates it. And he wants to build his own company about something he is passionate about. He wants to be an entrepreneur. This person knows exactly what he has to do to change, but still. HE DOESN'T DO IT. He does deeply want to move forward, quit his job and start a new, exciting life, but he is kind of stuck there, like paralysed, even if he really knows what would truly make him happy. That’s because he has this inner program in his subconscious mind that somehow is blocking him from doing it. It might be because he has been told his whole life that “working hard like a dog is the only way to succeed” (this doesn’t let any space to joy, prosperity and fulfillment in life), or that “life is all about working hard for others who are more successful” (these are often deep family beliefs that only the other ones can have a great abundant life). His parents might both be hard-working employees and that could be the only environment he has ever known in his life. All those things are ingrained in his subconscious mind and forbid him to do what he really wants to do in life.

So we realize here that it is not really about the potential of the person: the person can be smart, intelligent, loving, inspiring. But because he doesn’t believe in himself and in another way of living for himself, he just doesn’t change his situation.

Well we all experience that at some point in our lives. Whether it is in our professional path, our relationships, our activities…. Everything is guided by this inner program we have in ourselves. Once we realize what is really blocking us, we can change it. We can change it the same way that this program has been put into our subconscious mind in the first place: through repetition. We’ve been told and told and told the same things all our lives, and that is why it is in us. So by re-programming those thoughts, we can re-program our subconscious mind and get free of all those negative beliefs that are holding us back.

So if you think that only other people can become really successful, repeat to yourself over and over again: “I am at my best and can be whoever I want right now”. Or just find a sentence that will resonate with you.

If you think that you can not quit the corporate world for the entrepreneurial world, say to yourself: “I am happy and grateful that today I am building my own business”.

If you think that you are not worth being loved, repeat to yourself: “I am perfect the way I am and everyone loves me”.

Repeating those mantras to yourself over and over again, before sleeping, when you wake up, when you are walking, is really powerful. I would suggest that you record yourself repeating the sentence for maybe 10 minutes and listen to the audio over and over and over again. It is really powerful and after a few weeks, you will see the transformation happening.

I have learnt and applied all that thanks to Bob Proctor, a fabulous motivation speaker who made the paradigm shift his mission in the world. He is helping people transforming their lives by changing this paradigm in them. The mantra he uses and that I find quite good for an overall positive shift is:

“I am happy and grateful now that Love, Money, Health and Happiness come to me in increasing quantities, from multiple sources, on a continuous basis”.

When you feel that you lack self-confidence, you lack this Energy and Motivation in you, you lack this Power and Belief in yourself, I do believe that by repeating this over and over and over again, you can help change that.

The other mantras I like more particularly are: (from the book of Chakra Healing by Liz Simpson)

-          Who I am is good enough

-          Life is unfolding as it should

-          I know I am becoming the best person I can be

-          I accept and value myself exactly as I am

-          I deserve the best that life has to offer. My needs are always met

-          I am taking responsibility of my life. I can cope with any situation

So, choose the sentence that resonates the most with you, record yourself, and listen to the audio over and over again, and you’ll see. Miracles happen.

With Love,

Stephanie
