Avocado Chocolate Truffles

I finally got to try this ULTRA NUTRIENT-DENSE and HEALTHY recipe…

Nothing more comforting than some great chocolate truffles, right?

This recipe is from the book “Fat for Fuel, Ketogenic Cookbook” from Dr. Joseph Mercola and Chef Pete Evans. I highly recommend you check it out, there are some awesome really tasty recipes in there…

So here we go:

Ingredients: ALL ORGANIC

-          3tbsp extra virgin raw coconut oil

-          2 small ripe avocados

-          1Tbsp raw honey (adjust to taste, I only used 1tsp as I don’t have a sweet tooth…)

-          1Tbsp Vanilla extract or Vanilla powder

-          1 cup raw cacao powder plus some extra for dusting

Mix (in a bowl with hand mixer or with food processor) the melted coconut oil, the avocados,honey, vanilla. Gradually add the cacao powder until it completely combines with the other ingredients.

Freeze for 10 minutes.

Scoop it out and form some little balls with your hands. Dust with cacao powder or almond or coconut flakes.

Let it chill in the refrigerator before serving (30min is good).
